This character actor has dozens of TV and film credits to his name. He’s played Russian operatives (Berlin Station, The Company, Red Sparrow, Strike Back) but also 1940s Hollywood producer, Hal B. Wallis (Curtiz), the grubbiest cook in the Royal Navy (The Terror), and a pompous butler (Emerald City). To name but a few.
A versatile writer too, Scott’s work as a scriptwriter ranges from history documentaries to late night Sci-Fi/horror spoofs.
Berlin Stationfollows Daniel Miller (Richard Armitage), who has just arrived at the CIA foreign station in Berlin, Germany. Miller has a clandestine mission: to uncover the source of a leak that’s supplied information to a now-famous whistleblower named Thomas Shaw. Guided by veteran Hector DeJean (Rhys Ifans), Daniel learns to contend with the rough-and-tumble world of the field agent: agent-running, deception, and the dangers and moral compromises.
Berlin Station has recently been picked up by Channel 4 and will broadcast soon.
